What’s the Deal?

  • Does “One Day House Painting” really mean what I think it means?

    Yes. “One Day House Painting” means we paint your house, inside or out, start to finish, in just one day.

  • Can you really paint my whole house in one day?

    Yes, subject to some reasonable assumptions…

    First, we assume that your house isn’t extraordinarily large or intricate. Obviously a 3-story Victorian palace can’t be painted in one day. But most houses can be.

    We also assume that no extraordinary prep work is needed – no more than the usual cleaning and sanding per our paint supplier’s specifications, plus minor spackling and caulking.

    Finally, we assume that you want your house painted with premium quality, low VOC, environmentally friendly latex paints.

  • Are there any limitations to what you can do in one day?

    Of course. We probably can’t build Rome…

    We’ll also need more than one day if your house requires pressure washing, or if repairs are required before painting, or if your existing painted surfaces show signs of paint failure. In such cases we’ll typically do all the necessary repair or prep work in one day, and then come back to paint your house on a second day.

    Finally, if for some reason you require oil-based paints for your house we’re happy to oblige you, but the built-in limitations of solvent-based materials won’t allow us to complete an oil-based paint job in one day.

What’s the Catch?

  • Do you cut corners on materials?

    No. In fact a one day paint job requires premium materials for easier, more efficient application, better coverage and faster drying times.

  • Do you cut corners on craftsmanship?

    Nope, sorry, we don’t offer that service. You’ll have to go somewhere else to get shoddy craftsmanship. In fact we use our most experienced and efficient professional painters on our one day painting crews, so you get the same impeccable craftsmanship you always expect from Luxbrush.

  • Do you limit my color choices?

    No. In fact we recently completed a one day house painting job where we used 7 different colors specified by the homeowner.

  • Do you leave a big mess for me to clean up?

    Absolutely not. As with every Luxbrush job, we leave no traces behind – other than the brand new look of your home.

  • Do I still get a warranty?

    Of course. We stand behind our 1 Day House Painting jobs with the same warranty that every Luxbrush job includes.

  • Do I have to do any prep work?

    No. Just like with any paint job, all we need is access to the areas we will paint.

  • Do I have to move my own furniture?

    No. As with every Luxbrush job, we move your furniture, drape it for protection, and replace it at the end of the day. We do ask you to put away any especially valuable or fragile pieces.

  • Do I have to leave my house for the day?

    Not necessarily – but you shouldn’t plan on using your home as you normally would on the day we paint. Any home improvement project is disruptive, and a paint job is no exception. A huge benefit of a one day paint job is that it minimizes the time your home routine is disrupted.

    A one day house painting project requires a larger than normal crew working with maximum efficiency, so it’s especially important that you (and your pets and children) give them the space they need to produce the results you want.

  • How much more will this cost me?

    Nothing – why should you pay more? A house painting job requires a certain number of man-hours to complete. We simply assign the largest crew appropriate to the job, and provide them with the tools, systems and administrative support they need, so we can be in and out of your house in one day.

    Because of our unique systems and efficiency, it doesn’t cost us more to provide you with this premium service – so we don’t charge you more.
